Ceiling Tile Art

I created this artwork in my 8th grade art 3 class. It is a self-portrait of me peeking out from the ceiling tile. I was really excited to do it the whole year, and I finally got to. It is painted with heavy bodied acrylics, and it took me about 4 days. It was my first time making a realism piece with paint, so it was a fun learning experience! Now, the tile is up in the art classroom's ceiling, there for everyone to see for years to come!

I honestly do not like the hand. Though it looks a bit better in person, I could never get it right.
