Jack Steiner
Hello again! You already know my name, it's plastered all over the place.
As I said before, I am a math enthusiast, artist, and self taught engineer and programmer.
As of now, I am 14 and in 9th grade, but my love for learning spans far beyong my age.
My journey began over a decade ago, with my love for drawing. I used to wake up every day before school and practically beg my mom for a pencil and paper! Over the years, it has evolved into a fascination with technology, coding, and engineering. Everything I do is driven by passion and curiosity. I don't believe in limits, and is why I work so hard to challenge myself every day.
Why I do what I do:
The world of programming and engineering fascinates me because it lets me create my own things the way I want. It is a way that bring my silly ideas to life and watch them evolve. Mathematics has not always been an interest of mine, in fact, like most kids, I used to hate math with my whole heart. But recently, I have grown a deep love for it and now it stands as the backbone of all things I do and create. Coding lets me apply mathematical concepts in practical ways to solve problems or create new solutions.
Being self-taught means i have to find my own recources and figure things out on my own. Most of what I do is just by trial and error, learning what works and what doesn't. Other things that have helped me learn is the use of books, articles, forums, or online communities on Discord or Reddit. No matter what hobby I do, I try to get my hands dirty and learn by building. That is the fun of it!
Goals:
I aspire to attend Yale University and earn a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer science. My ultimate goal is to contrubute to the world of techonology in a meaningful way, whether thats creating algorithms or making robots, I want to help drive others to the boundries of what is possible.
